RODP
faculty have the ability to email certain constituencies such as all
APSU
faculty, all the math faculty, all
TTC
faculty, all summer 07 faculty, etc. (This ability coming for student groups also).
- Example: To email all Chattanooga State faculty, go to the email Address Book. Pull down the "Filter By" menu and look for CSTCC
. Select that group and you get a llist of all CSTCC faculty in D2L
. (CSTCC is a subgroup of Institution, which is a group inside the RODP Communications course. This course is used as a placeholder so groups can be set up in the Address Book.)
- Example: To email just the faculty teaching this summer in D2L, go to the Address Book and pull down the "Filter By" menu. Look for "2007 Summer College" (It is WAY down the list which has some unnamed groups right now that will be retitled with subject codes. etc.
- Example: To email all the Biology faculty, go to the Address Book and pull down the "Filter BY" option. Choose Biology (which is a subgroup of the "Subject Area" group.
You can also e-mail constituencies by entering the
classlist
of the "RODP Communications". Go to the groups tab and filter by type of group needed.
