What freeware is a good, simple-to-use web page creation tool that faculty could use to create materials for online courses? MS FrontPage's replacement Expression Web is not in our MS site license. Development of Nvu has been discontinued by Linspire. It's replacement Kompozer has not been adopted by any company for updating since last year. Would be good to have a standard offering that includes WYSIWYG visual editor, design templates, and assumes no knowledge of HMTL. Thanks for any ideas.

I have a couple of suggestions:

SeaMonkey

What was once Netscape Composer is now available as Mozilla SeaMonkey.

Arachnophilia

http://www.arachnoid.com/arachnophilia/

This is a much more technical editor, but offers a lot of options
