CPS stands for Certified Professional Secretary.  CPS is endorsed by the International Association of Administrative Professionals.

ROCE offers three CPS Review Courses.  These courses prepare an individual to sit for the CPS exam.  The courses include:

Office Administration
The major objective is to provide the student a general review of traditional office skills and office procedures as well as addressing the development taking place in today’s rapidly changing office environment.

Office Systems & Technology
This is the second in a series of 3 courses. This course is designed to cover the concepts, terminology, systems software, applications software, network enterprises, network technologies, and hardware of Information Technology. Also telecommunication, reprographics, document layout and design, and ergonomics will be included in this course. Discussion groups, assignments, and a mock CPS examination® will be instrumental to the learning experience.

Management
You will be learning about the motivational and management theories, functions of management, decision-making techniques, change management, time management, production and marketing management. We will address the laws pertaining to employment and discrimination as well as human resource management. We will study important accounting principles, depreciation, ratios, inventory, and financial statements. We will cover communication including groups.
